17-year-old Nanna and her group of friends desperately try to find a way to climb the social ranks of a small-town gas station. In the process chaos will ensue, hearts will break, and a few hard lessons will be learned.
Limbo is a fast-paced cringe comedy about the hierarchies of a gas station taken over by teenagers. Status-seeking Nanna refuses to be a loser anymore and decides to rise to the top at any cost. The obstacles include the "Kultajaskat", the "That Girlit," and above all, Sirénin Syreeni, the gas station's arbitrary "Master of fucking everything" who has targeted Nanna. The situation is disrupted by Aino, who returns to Limbo to work after undergoing a perfect glow-up during a language course.
Limbo is a raunchy comedy featuring Finland's "queerest" ensemble both in front of and behind the camera. The series is written by Oona Haapaniemi (Häräntappoase, Korvessa kulkevi), directed by Kaya Pakaslahti (Badrumsliv), and produced by Liisa Lehkonen and Pietari Vappula (Aikuiset) from Yellow Film & TV. The cast includes Adja Wade (Nanna), Miska Valos (Elmo), Santi Garzon (Mimosa), Salli Siivonen (Oula), Lilja Kervinen (Aino), Yoandy Jimeno (Sirenin Syreeni), Noel Ramsay (Jasper), Aron Luokkala (Halme), and Nicklas Pohjola (Andy).
