Fiction feature 95 is a dramatic story about ice hockey and national pride. It’s a multi-faceted telling of how Finland came to win the Ice Hockey World Championship for the first time, and how it affected Finnish society to its very core. The film is produced by Olli Haikka, Jarkko Hentula, and Marko Talli of Yellow Film & TV. The script is penned by Joona Tena, Tatiana Elf, and Juha Karvanen. Jere Lehtinen, one of the real-life members of the 1995 championship winning team, acted as ice hockey expert in the making of the movie.
